Policies Related to the Sustainability
Environment
In order to achieve our Basic Policy on Sustainability, the YBHD Group must work together with suppliers to build a sustainable supply chain. Accordingly, we have established the “Basic Policy for Sustainable Procurement” for practicing sustainable procurement, as well as the “Guidelines for Sustainable Procurement,” which set forth our expectations of suppliers when implementing initiatives in line with this basic policy.
Based on our corporate philosophy of “service to the public and sound management,” the Yokogawa Bridge Holdings Group has established an "Environmental Policy" in order to contribute to global environmental conservation and sustainable development by reducing the impact of our business activities on the global environment.

The Yokogawa Bridge Holdings Group (the “YBHD Group”) contributes to global environmental conservation and sustainable development by reducing the impact of our business activities on the global environment, based on our corporate philosophy of "service to the public and sound management.” - Scope of application
This policy applies to all YBHD Group officers, employees, seconded workers, dispatch employees, and other workers engaged in business operations (“YBHD Group employees”). The YBHD Group also expects our business partners and suppliers to support this policy and to adopt similar policies. - Compliance with laws and regulations
The YBHD Group will strictly comply with all laws, regulations, and rules related to the environment, and will endeavor to raise the environmental awareness of YBHD Group employees and ensure they acquire related knowledge. - Initiatives to reduce environmental impact
The YBHD Group will promote the research and development of innovative environmentally friendly technologies and products, and actively adopt the latest findings and successful practices to contribute to reducing environmental impact.
We will also contribute to sustainable resource use by actively promoting the efficient use and reuse of resources. - Promoting communication with society
The YBHD Group will work to ensure appropriate communication with society concerning efforts related to protecting the environment, in order to achieve mutual understanding and cooperation with stakeholders (employees, customers, local communities, etc.), and we focus on environmental conservation, including pollution prevention, sustainable resource use, and climate change mitigation (reduction of greenhouse gas emissions). - Environmental management and continuous improvement
The YBHD Group has established the Sustainability Committee to pursue continuous improvement by setting environmental targets and regularly evaluating and reviewing the impact of the Group's business activities on the environment and our initiatives related to this policy. - Information disclosure
We will disclose our environmental initiatives and results based on this policy in a timely and appropriate manner through various media, including the Company’s website.

Accordingly, we have established a “Biodiversity Policy” in order to contribute to achieving a society in which people and nature coexist in harmony by respecting nature reserves and regions of high ecological value, and minimizing the impact of our business activities on biodiversity.

The YBHD Group will expand communication and promote collaboration and cooperation with local communities, governments, research institutions, companies, NGOs, and other organizations, in order to improve the feasibility of biodiversity conservation initiatives. - Environmental management and continuous improvement

Society
Based on our corporate philosophy of “service to the public and sound management" and our Charter of Corporate Behavior, the Yokogawa Bridge Holdings Group regards respect for human rights as an important issue, and has established the “Yokogawa Bridge Holdings Group Human Rights Policy” in order to fulfill our responsibility to respect human rights in our business activities.
Health and Safety Policy
Safety is the starting point of our existence as a company, and we will ensure safety and create a comfortable work environment based on the principles of respect for human life and compliance with laws and regulations.

Governance
The YBHD Group has established a “Bribery and Corruption Prevention Policy” to ensure that the Group's officers and employees, including dispatch employees, comply with laws and regulations related to the prevention of bribery and corruption in Japan and overseas, and endeavor to prevent bribery and corruption.
- Basic approach
Based on this policy, the officers and employees, including dispatch employees (“officers and employees”) of Yokogawa Bridge Holdings Group (the “YBHD Group”) will comply with laws and regulations related to the prevention of bribery and corruption in Japan and overseas and endeavor to prevent bribery and corruption. - Compliance with laws and regulations
YBHD Group officers and employees will comply with applicable laws, regulations, etc., related to bribery and corruption in all countries and regions related to their duties, and shall conduct themselves in accordance with corporate ethics and social norms. - Prohibition of bribery and corruption
(1)No officer or employee of the YBHD Group shall provide entertainment, money, goods, etc., to any person, whether in Japan or overseas, for the purpose of obtaining any improper business advantage, whether directly or indirectly. YBHD Group officers and employees shall reject any request or offer of bribery or corruption received from a public official or other person.
(2) The YBHD Group will endeavor to include anti-bribery and anti-corruption clauses in the contracts it enters into with its business partners. - Thorough recordkeeping and management
The YBHD Group will create accurate accounting records based on facts, and will also properly store the relevant books of account. - Education and training
The YBHD Group will provide education, training, etc., to ensure that YBHD Group officers and employees comply with this policy, and will also ensure thorough knowledge of this policy among all officers and employees. - Bribery and corruption prevention system
(1)The YBHD Group will continuously review the effectiveness of the YBHD Group's bribery and corruption prevention system through regular audits and make improvements as necessary.
(2) The YBHD Group will establish appropriate systems for reporting, consultation, and notification, in order to prevent violations of this policy and to correct any violations that are discovered. In addition, we will ensure that counselors, reporters, and whistleblowers, or their collaborators, will not be subject to disadvantageous treatment. - Actions to be taken in case of violation
In the event that an officer or employee of the YBHD Group or a related third party acts in violation of this policy, the YBHD Group will immediately investigate the facts and take appropriate action. In addition, disciplinary action or other strict measures will be taken against the person(s) who performed deeds, depending on the attributes of those person(s).
